Resource constraints do not always suppress action. In some settings, they change the way actors search, recombine, improvise, and recognize opportunities. The interesting research problem is identifying when constraint stimulates resourcefulness and when it simply becomes a barrier.
This journal entry format is intended to make those theoretical connections visible while they are still developing.
